Internal Bickering in TDP’s Nandyal Unit Comes to Fore Yet Again

 - Sakshi Post

Nandyal: Internal bickering in the Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) Nandyal Parliamentary constituency has come to fore again on Tuesday. The supporters of Former TDP minister Bhuma Akhila Priya have attacked former AP State Rural Irrigation Corporation chairman AV Subba Reddy, a close aide of Akhila’s father Bhuma Nagi Reddy exposing the chinks in the armour of the party. Subba Reddy is reported to have been badly injured in the attack.

Upon receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and controlled the situation. It is alleged that the attack on AV Subba Reddy was staged to prove their strength in the constituency during TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh’s Yuva Galam Padayatra.

It is a known fact that the two leaders are at loggerheads since the passing away of Bhuma Nagi Reddy. The TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu attempted to make peace between them but in vain as both the leaders continued to resort to acts against each other.
