CM YS Jagan Congratulates PM Modi for New Parliament Building Inauguration

 - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: Even as the Member of Parliaments of BRS in the neighbouring state Telangana remain undecided on attending the inauguration of new Parliament building in New Delhi on Sunday, Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ‘dedicating the grand and majestic Parliament building to the nation.’

Taking to Twitter, YS Jagan took a jibe at other Opposition parties for announcing their decision to skip the inauguration ceremony and also confirmed that the MPs from YSR Congress party will attend this ‘historic event’ in the national capital.

Notably, 19 Opposition parties including Congress have declared that they chose to boycott the new Parliament building inauguration ceremony. They have claimed that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ‘completely sidelined President Droupadi Murmu’ and also issued a joint statement saying that the ‘soul of democracy has been sucked out from the Parliament.’
