Andhra BJP Leader Vishnu Kumar Raju Served Show Cause Notice?

Andhra Pradesh BJP has served a notice to its party leader and former MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju on Sunday, sources said. In the notice, Raju has been asked to explain his comments to a news channel on various matters by Sunday failing which disciplinary action would be initiated against him.

It is said the notice was issued to the BJP leader after his interview to a news channel on matters not concerning the party was brought to the attention of the party leadership. According to party sources, the BJP leadership is not happy with the comments of Vishnu Kumar Raju and therefore it has issued a show cause notice against the leader. 

The former legislator has been given the time till Sunday to respond to the show cause notice asking why disciplinary action should not be taken against him. The party leadership is learnt to have taken note of Vishnu Kumar Raju’s comment to a news channel in which he had commented on the recent searches being carried out by the central probe agencies. 

The party leadership has also cautioned him against expressing his opinion on alliances with other parties. He was also given strict warning against violating the party discipline.
