Even as the prices of petrol and diesel touches a record high in the country, netizens are having a gala time sharing jokes on the same. A few funny memes and a few serious statements are being made on social media. Twitter jokes on fuel price hike in India post Karnataka elections have drawn the attention of the general public. With Congress and the BJP playing the blame game, netizens are making the most of it by sharing jokes.

The petrol price has touched a record high of Rs 76.57 while diesel is at an all-time high of Rs 67.82. The Indian Basket Crude Oil price is a whopping $79.13 per barrel. This is the 8th straight day that the fuel price has been hiked for no reason.
