Divyangjan waiting to meet CM Chandrababu near his residence - Sakshi Post

Tadepally Rural: The differently abled persons, referred to as Divyangjan by the Indian government, from 13 district of Andhra Pradesh assembled near Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Undavalli-Amaravati cross roads on Saturday. Braving the scorching heat they waited for hours. Finally, three persons were allowed to meet the CM, but before they could explain their problems fully and they were sent back. They had assembled at CM's residence to demand their rightful due.

Speaking to media Divyangjan demanded that all the Divyangjan, irrespective of their physical problems, should be given Rs 3000 per month as pension. They asked for giving an opportunity for Divyangjan to have a representative in state assembly. They said that for this Chandrababu had reacted that the demands of Divyangjan were unfair. They have also asked TDP Chief to discuss about the issues of Divyangjan at Mahanadu which would be held on May 27. State President of Divyangjan Association Nili Jojibabu, V Babu Rao, V Durga Rao, Sarveshwara Rao, Ramesh, SK Jelani, K Radhakrishna and A Venkrishna were among others who spoke to media.
