Will Naa Peru Surya Rule Chennai Box Office

Allu Arjun - Sakshi Post

Debutant director Vakkantham Vamsi's Naa Peru Surya features Allu Arjun and Anu Emmanuel in the lead roles. Allu Arjun was last seen in Duvvada Jagannadham which tanked at the box office. There is no doubt Bunny is pinning high hopes on this film. NPS marks the debut of Vamshi as  director. Surprisingly, the film's promotions have been low key unlike recently released Charan's Rangasthalam or Mahesh's Bharat Ane Nenu.

Allu Arjun enjoys a solid fan following not only in Telugu states but also in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Of late, Chennai Box Office has become a big adda for Tollywood Telugu films which are dominating the Tamil box office. Recent Telugu releases—Charan's Rangasthalam and Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu have set new records at the Chennai Box Office on its opening day with massive collections. Rangasthalam went on to collect Rs 24 Lakhs while Bharat Ane Nenu earned Rs 27 Lakhs at the Tamil Nadu Box Office.

These films have ruled the Chennai box office over the last two months. Will Allu Arjun continue the same momentum with Naa Peru Surya? After a massive advance booking of tickets for the film across the nation, expectations are riding high on this film. Will it be possible for Naa Peru Surya to break records set by Rangasthalam or Bharat Ane Nenu at the Chennai box office? Will Naa Peru Surya join the list of highest Telugu grossers on opening at at Tamil Nadu box office? Only time can tell the answers. If the film does break the record, then it would be a sure delight for Bunny fans. Ever since the Naa Peru Surya audio launch event, there has been a lot of talk surrounding the movie.

But, Arjun's father Allu Aravind who is a Top Producer in Tollywood and Bunny are confident about the film. They have assured the fans why Bunny chose Naa Peru Surya only after they see the film. What are you waiting for? Have you booked your tickets yet? The film is set for a grand release tomorrow (May 4) across the globe.
