Andhra Pradesh POLYCET 2018 Results

The Andhra Pradesh Polycet exam results are out. The technical education body responsible for conducting the POLYCET, State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada has announced the results of AP POLYCET-2018. Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Hon’ble Human Resources Development Minister, Andhra Pradesh governement released the results. The AP POLYCET 2018 was held on 27 April.

The AP Polytechnic Result 2018 can be checked at the official website polycetap.nic.in. Candidates can get their ranks in AP POLYCET 2018, along with marks secured in individual subjects of Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

POLYCET serves as an entrance exam for admission to Diploma level programmes conducted in Government, Aided, Private unaided polytechnics and polytechnics that operate in existing Private unaided Engineering Colleges. The official website for AP POLYCET 2018 can be accessed to check the results.

According to the Commissioner of Education, Andhra Pradesh, 93.23% of applicants turned up for the AP POLYCET 2018 examination across 368 examination centres. Competing for 86,570 Diploma/Polytechnic seats, a total of 1,25,518 candidates, out of which 85,879 Boys and 43,046 girls, have appreared for the AP POLYCET 2018 examination, although 1,34,635 candidates have applied for the Andhra Pradesh POLYCET examination.

In Vizag, Srikakulam, Guntur and Chittor, the student turnout was 97.52%, 96.86%, 96.64%, 96.52% respectively. A minimum marks of 36 out of 120 was set for qualification last year. However, SC and ST aspirants had no cutoff constraints. The answer key for all sets, A, B,C, and D of Andhra Pradesh POLYCET exam 2018 were released on 30 April, 2018.

Those students who make it to the merit list in AP POLYCET Results 2018 will be subject to a counselling process, after which they would be allotted seats and institutes as per their preference and rank secured in AP POLYCET Results 2018. The AP POLYCET 2018 Rank is evaluated based on the marks obtained in the examination. If there is a tie in the total marks secured in AP POLYCET 2018, first preference would be given to the candidates who secure highest marks in Mathematics. Therefore, the candidates who did well in Mathematics stand a better chance to get a better rank in AP POLYCET 2018.

AP POLYCET 2018 Examination, which tests aspirants in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, was held on 27 April, 2018. The pattern of exam was objective, with a total of 120 questions.
