Funny Twitter Memes On Narendra Modi Fitness Challenge Video

Just a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted a video of his fitness regime, a spate of comments and memes flooded social media platforms. The video comes as a response to fitness challenge thrown at him by Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, to upload a video of his daily exercise routine. The video, which went viral on social platforms, also came up in discussion at the Iftar party hosted by Congress president Rahul Gandhi in Delhi on Wednesday evening.

"Did you see the PM's fitness video? It is ridiculous... I mean... It is bizarre... This is bankruptcy," Rahul said as he poked fun at the video.

Rahul then turned to Sitaram Yechury of CPI(M) and on a lighter note, asked him to put out his fitness video as a challenge to Modi's

While former presidents Pranab Mukherjee and Pratibha Patil, and former vice president Hamid Ansari silently heard the conversation, TMC leader Dinesh Trivedi, BSP leader Satish Chandra Misra and DMK's Kanimozhi had a hearty laugh.

The fitness challenge was the brainchild of Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, who on May 22 had initiated a social media campaign to encourage Indians to exercise more. The minister passed it on to cricketer Virat Kohli who in-turn passed it on to the Prime Minister.
