Nalsar Student Makes History; Wins 17 Medals

Tanya Chaoudary hailing from Jaipur, Rajasthan, has set a record by receiving 17 gold medals at the 14th annual convocation of Nalsar University of Law. Tanya, who already works for a law firm, Shardul Amarchanda Mangaldas in New Delhi, holds a BA LLB degree.

Tanya stated that she was delighted to receive so many medals. She said, “While I knew two days prior to the convocation that I would get 16 gold medals, the last one which was the Vice-Chancellor’s gold medal for the best outgoing female student of the varsity came as a surprise.”

Another student, Harshit Neotia won six medals during the convocation, which conferred degrees to 536 students. However, only 252 students attended the event.
