Mystery Shrouds Death Of 18-Year-Old Girl

Siddipet: Mystery shrouds the death of an Intermediate student at Rudraram village in Mirdoddi mandal of Siddipet district, on Saturday.

According to the police, an 18-year-old girl left her house on Friday morning to appear for the examination in Siddipet town. However, she did not return even after it got very late in the evening. Her anxious parents lodged a complaint with the police.

On Saturday morning, locals spotted the girl's badly burnt body in an agricultural field near the village. Police rushed to the place and shifted the body for postmortem. They suspect that unidentified persons known to the victim might have raped and killed her. Her cell-phone call data is also being verified to secure crucial details. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
