Mystery Over Revanth Reddy’s Resignation To Legislature

Revanth Reddy - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Mystery continues over the resignation of former T-TDP MLA Revanth Reddy to the Telangana legislature.

The Telugu Desam leader who recently switched loyalties to the Congress had stated that he submitted both his resignations (party and legislature) to the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu. Indications from the Telangana Assembly are that the resignation letter is yet to be received by the Speaker. Speaking on the issue, T-TDP president L Ramana said that Revanth Reddy is yet to resign as MLA.

While this confusion is pervading political circles in both the states, the ruling-TRS leaders in Hyderabad are now demanding that Revanth Reddy should personally submit the resignation letter to the Telangana Assembly speaker.

TRS Focus On Revanth's Constituency

Meanwhile, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has launched special focus on Revanth Reddy's constituency - Kodangal. The party has already assigned ministers Jupali Krishna Rao, Lakshma Reddy and Patnam Mahender Reddy the task of engaging local leaders from Kodangal. The result is that these local leaders from BJP and Congress have begun switching loyalties to the TRS.
