The woman’s father Shamsher Khan filed a complaint against six people including her husband, Pervez Khan - Sakshi Post

Ballia (Uttar Pradesh): Nagma Parveen, a Muslim woman, was assaulted by her husband and five others for painting pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The woman's father Shamsher Khan filed a complaint against six people including her husband, Pervez Khan, at Sikandarpur police station on Sunday.

Nagma, an artist by hobby, married Pervez last year in Basarikpur village in the Sikanderpur area. She painted the pictures of Modi and Yogi besides some others for which her husband objected. As she was firm about her paintings, her husband and his relatives beat her up and threw her out of home.
