Murder Politics Won't Be Tolerated: Chandrababu

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the culprits behind the murder of Chittoor mayor Katari Anuradha will be brought to book at the earliest.Speaking to media here following the gruesome murder of Anuradha and an attempt on her husband Katari Mohan in a daylight attack at the municipal corporation office in town on Tuesday, Chandrababu said his government will not tolerate murder politics and go to any extent to contain this menace. He condemned the murder of Anuradha and the attack on her husband Mohan. 

The murder was suspected to be the handiwork of a group within TDP to which Katari Mohan and his mayor wife belong too. Mohan was an accused in a murder attempt on Chittoor ex-MLA CK Babu.

"Some goons were resorting to all kinds of illegal activities including smuggling, looting and various anti-social activities all these years. We are not going to allow that to happen any longer. Whoever is behind this murder will be brought to book. We will set an example to deter any potential criminals by ensuring a prompt action in this case," Chandrababu said.
