Much Loved Kohli Wanted In Pakistan By Cricket Fans

Pakistan cricket fans love Indian captain Virat Kohli as much as we do and there’s proof for that. They would like to see him play in their domestic T20 League Pakistan Super League (PSL), and this was evident once again in a recent game in the tournament. A fan at the stadium was seen carrying a placard which said, “We want to see Virat Kohli in PSL”. The cameramen captured it during a match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators.

Virat Kohli currently is in the form of his life since the beginning of 2016 and has already broken several of his idol Sachin Tendulkar’s record. Experts of the game predict that in a few years, Kohli would break all of the batting legend’s records if he continues his current form. Under Kohli’s captaincy, the Indian team was victorious in both the T20 as well as the seven match One Day International (ODI) series.

The third edition of the PSL kicked off on February 22, while the opening ceremony took place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The league has teams from six major cities – Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Islamabad, and Multan.

The Pakistan fans’ hopes to watch Kohli play have dim possibilities, considering the Indian government's denial to revive bilateral cricket between the two nations, following terrorist activities in the neighboring country.

The Indian cricket team are scheduled to play Sri Lanka on Tuesday, as part of a Triangular T20 series in Sri Lanka, also involving Bangladesh. The men in blue will be led by opener Rohit Sharma, while the in form full time captain is rested.
