MP hubby's kidnap: Talasani refutes allegations - Sakshi Post

* My family loaned Rs 11 crore to MP's husband

* MP's husband did not reveal the whole truth, says minister
* There was no snatching away of documents

A stung Talasani Srinivas Yadav strongly refuted the allegations that his son Sai Yadav had kidnapped Araku MP Kothapalli Geetha's husband Ramakoteswara Rao.
Speaking at a hurriedly organised press conference in the wake of Rao's allegations that Sai Yadav has snatched some land documents from him on Wednesday, Telangana minister Talasani said he had loaned Rs 11 crore from his family way back in 2011 and they only wanted the repayment of the loan amount with interest. He said the MP's husband has paid Rs 5 crore and had to clear the remaining amount. Agreeing to clear the remaining amount, he offered to pledge 5 acres of his lands and gave the documents.
"The MP's husband has told only selective parts ofthe whole story to the media. He has not explained why he had to give the land documents to my son. He did not reveal that he had taken loan from my family,"the minister said.
"The CCTV footage at Taj Krishna Hotel, where the Rao, my son and two others met, shows them entering and exiting in cheerful mood. They are seen laughing and talking together. This is not a kidnap,"Talasani said and added that he would reveal the details about the financial deals between his family nd the MP's family on Friday.
