Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a woman pushed her 7-year-old daughter from the third floor of a building and killed her, in South Bengaluru on Sunday.

Eye witnesses said that the daughter did not die when the mother (identified as Swati Sarkar) pushed her off the building the first time. She then dragged the minor girl to the top of the building again and pushed her a second time resulting in the daughter’s death. Some of the residents in the locality claim that the young girl suffered from autism while others said that she was deaf and dumb. However, after the heinous crime, Swati donned make-up and was preparing to leave her flat in the building when locals apprehended her and tied her to an electrical pole till police arrived.

Swati was working as a school teacher in the city while her husband was a techie. They separated recently owing to differences.
