Modi Greets Amitabh Bachchan On His 74th Birthday

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan on his 74th birthday.

Bachchan was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan, the country's highest civilian honour in 2015, and Knight of the Legion of Honour by France in 2007 for his exceptional career in the world of cinema.
Bachchan has starred in superhit films like "Deewar", "Zanjeer", "Sholay", "Don", "Black", "Sarkar", "Agneepath", "Paa" and "Piku" in his illustrious career.
Modi pays tribute to Jayprakash Narayan
Modi on Tuesday also paid tributes to Jayprakash Narayan on his birth anniversary.

Jayaprakash Narayan was born on October 11, 1902 in Saran, Bihar. In the 1970s, he led an opposition against then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. In 1999, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna and also the Magsaysay award for Public Service in 1965.
The Patna airport is also named after him.
