Medico Jumps To Death At GSL Medical College Hostel In Rajamandry

Rajamahendravaram: An MBBS final year student at GSL Medical College died on Thursday morning after jumping from the fourth floor of her hostel on the campus here on Wednesday night.

Shubhasri (21) was found in a pool of blood in the wee hours and was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to grievous injuries sustained after jumping from fourth floor of the hostel building.

Though it was clear that Shubhasri wanted to commit suicide, the reason for her extreme step could not be confirmed. She was reportedly undergoing stress due to pressure at the college. Police are investigating.
