Hyderabad: Director Maniratnam and Suhasini's son Nandan was robbed in Italy by unknown miscreants. Nandan was left stranded and didn’t have money to reach the airport. The actress, who came to know about her son's plight, asked for help via Twitter. Fortunately, netizens who read her tweets, rescued her son and brought him back safely to a hotel.
