Man Sends Abusive Text Messages To Former Colleague, Held

Hyderabad: A 27-year-old was arrested on Saturday for threatening and sending abusive messages to his former colleague and sharing her pictures on social media.

The accused B. Dinesh Singh started harassing the woman after she rejected his marriage proposal. Unable to bear his torture the woman quit her job. However, the accused kept harassing the woman and sent her abusive messages to her cell phone.

The woman approached the police and filed a complaint. A case under section 354 of IPC (outraging the modesty of a woman) has been filed. Police are investigating into the matter.
