Man On Run In Murder Case Nabbed After 24 Years

Hyderabad: A fugitive on the run for 24 years was arrested by the SR Nagar police on Thursday. Accused Krishna stabbed a businessman E. Laxmaiah to death at AG Colony on January 12 in 1993. The 49-year-old man hails from Nidzur village in Kurnool.

Krishna along with his accomplices followed Laxmaiah on a scooty and hacked him to death in a property dispute. The police arrested Vijay, Lingaiah, who were involved in the crime, but Krishna remained untraceable. However, the police on a tip off came to know about Krishna's whereabouts and went to Kurnool to nab him.
