Man Kills Wife After Being Served Spicy Meal

New Delhi: Subodh, a 40-year-old plumber, had been arrested on Wednesday for killing his wife after he lost temper due to extra spicy meal served to him.

The incident took place in East Delhi's Madhu Vihar area on the intervening night of February 11 and 12.

Police said Manisha had left him to go to her relative’s place in Rohini but on February 11 Subodh asked her to come to Madhu Vihar since he had planned to kill her

Police said that Subodh without the knowledge of his first wife Manisha got married to a woman Muniya. After Manisha discovered that Subodh had married again thereafter they had frequent quarrels.

Police said Manisha had left him to go to her relative's place in Rohini but on February 11 Subodh asked her to come to Madhu Vihar since he had planned to kill her.

That day when Subodh had got Manisha to his Madhu Vihar home, she cooked food for him and he found it too spicy, following which he brutally started hitting her with stick and later she succumbed to her injuries, Police said.
