Man Hacks Transgender Partner To Death Over Seeing Another Person

Vizianagaram: In a shocking incident, a man hacked a transgender to death on suspicion that the person was having affair with someone else. The incident occurred at Neelakanthapuram village in Kurupam mandal here in the district on Tuesday evening.

According to the police, accused is identified as Srikanth of Amudalavalasa town in Srikakulam district. He was in a live-in relationship with victim identified as Ramesh alias Ramya for quite sometime.

For the past a few months, Srikanth grew suspicious about Ramya after he found her speaking to some other person. From then, Srikanth used to squabble with Ramesh over the issue.

On Tuesday night, he came to his house, quarreled with Ramesh. As the tempers grew, Srikanth, in a fit of rage, attacked Ramya with a hammer and inflicted multiple injuries. Ramesh died on the spot. The police took Srikanth into custody and registered a case.
