The JAC at Osmania University has called for setting ablaze Pawan Kalyan's effigy today in the light of attack on film critic Mahesh Kathi. It may be noted here that for the past four months, the tension between former the Big Boss contestant and PK fans has heightened. The fight took an ugly turn on Thursday when Mahesh Kathi was attacked by unidentified miscreants late night at Kondapur.

Bikers chased Kathi's car near Hi-tec city. The assailants then threw eggs at Kathi Mahesh as the got off his car. They flee from the spot after attacking him.

Kiran, a member of OUJAC said that they condemned the attack and in a democratic nation everyone had the right to express his views. "Dissenting is not wrong and we are with Kathi Mahesh. We will stop the screening of Pawan Kalyan's movie as he should come out in the open," said Kiran.

"Pawan Kalyan should take the responsibility and apologise to me. How can he be a leader if he can't come out in the public and solve a matter? A true leader doesn't act as per his whims and fancies. A leader must be available all the time," asserted Kathi Mahesh.

He went on to add that a tweet by Pawan Kalyan asking his fans to stop the attack on him would end his ordeal.
