A CMO official said that chopper carrying Maharashtra CM developed snag during take-off in Latur where he attended a government program. After the take-off, the chopper developed a technical snag and crash landed. Its wings were broken.
However, as the chopper was flying at a low height, no serious damage happened and the chief minister and his staff aboard were safe. He then traveled to Mumbai by road.
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao called his Maharashtra counterpart and enquired about the accident.
Fadnavis launched a 'Shivar Samwad Sabha' to reach out to farmers in the state and address their issues. The four-day initiative is being launched amid the rising resentment among farmers across the state over delay in procurement of tur this year.
