Mahanati, the biopic of late actress Savitri is being directed by Nag Ashwin featuring Keerthy Suresh in the lead role.

It was in the late 50s, Savitri had been a sensation in Tamil and Telugu film industry. People would wait for the movie of their favourite actress. Since the director announced the biopic on the late actress, expectations on the movie have only been on rise. Cast and story line has generated a lot of curiosity.

Ashwin has roped in many actors like Dulquer Salman, Naga Chaitanya, Vijay Deverakonda, Anushka Shetty, Samantha, Shalini Pandey and Jr NTR to essay key roles in the movie.

The first look posters of the movie and actors have also created much hype and most of the people are eagerly waiting for its teaser to get a feel of the movie.
