Lovelorn Man Throws Acid At Woman in Hayatnagar

Hyderabad: A lovelorn boy attacked his girlfriend and her friend with acid in on Wednesday night here. Fortunately, no harm was done since the acid was low in concentration.

According to reports, Shankar and Jhansi, both residents of Hayatnagar, were in a relationship for the past two years. Jhansi, who works in a petrol bunk in the city, recently befriended  Ramya, who also works there.

Gopal, who thought Jhansi was avoiding him ever since Ramya became friends with her, was angered with their attitude. So he hatched a plan and attacked the two with acid. Although both the girls are undergoing treatment at a hospital, none of them is in danger. The police has initiated an investigation into the matter.
