London streets to village rags, the story of an ideal lady - Sakshi Post

She believed that politics can be cleaned by entering it only. With that aim only, she came from London to her small town in Warangal district.

Leaving behind a job which fetches several pound sterlings in London, she came to Atmakuru to contest for ZPTC position from there. She already filed her nomination papers for contesting in the Panchayat elections.

Jyothsna Rani completed her graduation in Atmakuru itself. Later, she went to UK to do her post graduate degree in bio technology and got a good job in that country itself.

Jyothsna came to India about six months ago with the intention of being a people’s representative from her native mandal.

She explained clearly the reason for reaching Atmakuru from London.

“India became a land for dirty politics. I wanted to clean the politics in India by being a part of it but not being outside of it. About six months ago, I just called my parents. They told me that Panchayat elections are coming soon in the state. Some persons told me that one can serve the people well only as a people’s representative. So, I immediately I took the decision of contesting in the elections. I came to Atmakuru and studied the socio economic position of the people in the area. The Dalits are treating so bad in the remote villages even now. That’s why I took the decision of entering the politics,” said Jyothsna.

We wish all the best Jyothsna Rani in her political life.
