Let’s Strive To Fight For SCS, AP’s Right: YS Jagan

YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy asserted that securing special category status for Andhra Pradesh is the highest priority for the party. The leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly said that he would not rest till SCS was granted to the state. He exhorted party workers to fight for special category status which was the right of the citizens of the state.
YS Jagan appealed to party workers to intensify the struggle for SCS in the next few days and weeks. The Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly reminded people that Special Category Status was the lifeline of AP. The YSRCP chief halted his mass outreach program, Praja Sankalpa Yatra on Thursday, in sync with the protest by YSRCP across all districts of the state, demanding Special Category Status for AP.
The AP Leader of Opposition addressed party workers and sent out his appeal from the Padayatra camp in Santha Noothala Padu constituency near Chimakurthi in Prakasam district. YS Jagan reviewed the protests undertaken in various districts of state and was briefed by party leaders on the success of the dharnas in each district.
YS Jagan thanked all the partymen and people at large, who contributed to the success of the protests across the state and expressed his gratitude to them. “It is imperative that we demonstrate the same spirit till AP secures special category status,” he declared. He asked party leaders to bring all groups and segments of society together to intensify the struggle, to strive and fight for AP’s right. “It is with this zeal that we should struggle relentlessly and ensure that AP gets Special Category Status,” he said.
