But a recent tweet of a film director to KTR has grabbed the headlines as the minister has not responded to a major social issue. The Tollywood director in question is Kona Venkat who had sought KTR's attention over the piracy site Movierulz, which uploads pirated copies of all the newly released movies like Gayatri, Toli Prema and Intelligent.
The director shared screen shots of the movies put up on the site and tweeted to the state's IT minister seeking immediate action against the website. Surprisingly, the minister failed to respond to the director's tweet even after a day.
@KTRTRS .. we request ur immediate intervention in taking severe action against this particular website called “movierulz” which is a major threat to TFI.. Please instruct concerned authorities to lock these people up for good and save us ?
