Khammam TDP leader to join TRS

Khammam: Yet another blow for Telangana Telugu Desam Party here. Now, ex-MLC and TDP official spokesperson of Khammam district Potla Nageshwar Rao quit TDP and is going to join ruling TRS party. He announced his decision to media on Sunday.

Potla Negeshwar Rao spoke to newsmen after he was closeted with R & B and Women & Child Welfare Minister Thummala Nageshwar Rao on Sunday. He announced that he will quit the TDP and join TRS while KCR’s tour in Khammam district.

Rao clarified that he was defecting to TRS party because of the TDP’s failure in making the strong leadership in the district and state which was highlighted in the recent GHMC elections.
