KCR hits century as Telangana CM - Sakshi Post

Telangana government, headed by K.Chandrasekhar Rao, has completed 100 days on Tuesday.

The TRS sources are claiming that they could successfully launch several welfare and developmental programs in these 100 days.

KCR took oath as the first chief minister of Telangana state on June 2. Some of his major election promises include loan waiver of farmers in the state and special increment for government employees. He also promised for withdrawal of cases against those persons who fought for the separate state of Telangana.

Some of the major issues taken up by the chief minister are :

  • Intensive household survey
  • Decision on Telangana water grid
  • Land allocation for Dalits
  • Decision on regularization of contract employees
  • Reservations in market committees
  • 3 % for reservation for Christians
  • Renaming agricultural university after Prof Jayashankar
  • Cash awards for players who excelled in international tournaments
  • New Innova vehicles for police in Hyderabad
  • A proposal for centre seeking Bharat Ratna for former Prime Minister P.V.Narasimha Rao
  • Setting up TSPSC
