YS Jagan decries Chandrababu's vandetta politics - Sakshi Post

He condemns lathi-charge on farmers

Leader of Opposition in AP assembly and YSR Congress Party chief YS Jaggan Mohan Reddy on Sunday decried AP CM Chandrababu's vandetta politics and described the cancellation of mining rights to Saraswati Power Company as politically motivated.

Mild tension prevailed at the Camp office of Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad as hundreds of farmers from Dachepalli and Machavaram mandals in Guntur district staged a protest against the cancellation of mining rights to Saraswathi cements.
A group of farmers shouted slogans against Chandrababu demanding justice as their livelihood has been affected.
Later the police swung into action and resort to mild lathicharge when they were agitating against the cancellation of the factory.
Condemned the high-handedness of the police and the TDP government, Jagan said that unable to face the public opposition, Chandrababu is resorting to diversionary politics. "We will explore all available options to fight this injustice. We will take to legal recourse on Saraswati company," Jagan said.
He further asked the TDP government as to why it has not cancelled the lands of JC Diawakar Reddy.

On Saturday, YSRCP leader Dharmana Prasada Rao said, "The Government cancelling the mining orders on very flimsy grounds shows that the decision is taken against political adversaries and not on the merits as there are industries that are in similar or even in worse situations as they could not get the needed permission on time.”
