Is TDP Trying To Edge Out Minister Ayyanna Patrudu?

Is the TDP leadership trying to target firebrand minister Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu for his vitriolic attack on CM's favourite minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and for exposing the massive TDP-backed land scam in Vizag? It appears so as all the TDP MLAs, MPs and even ministerial colleagues from Guntur gave a miss to a key meeting called by Ayyanna Patrudu in Guntur the other day. Ayyanna felt deeply insulted and took up the matter with the party higher ups.

Ayyana has a justicification for his anger. He is, after all, the district in-charge minister for Guntur and there's no way the ministers and MLAs can ignore his meetings in the district. Not only that! All other local leaders, MPTCs, ZPTCs and other attended but, the ministers skipped his meeting. A livid Ayyanna took up the issue with TDP National Programmes Implementation Committee chairperson VVS Chowdary. Chowdary tried to pacify him saying that there could be a communication gap. But, Ayyanna refused to accept the excuse. "When all other local leaders were informed about the meeting, how come the MLAs, MPs and ministers did not get the information?" he asked.

So, is the stage set for edging out Ayyanna Patrudu from the TDP? Is the TDP siding with Ganta in the Vizag party war? What will be an isolated and ignored Ayyanna's future in the TDP, remains to be seen.
