IAS Officer Transferred 68 Times In 33Years

Senior bureaucrat Pradeep Kasni was transferred for the record 68th time in his 33 years of service. His name cropped up in the Haryana government’s latest rejigs involving transfers of 19 IAS officers including Kasni. He was transferred on Wednesday and was posted as chief executive, Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board.

During his last 2.5 years service, 13 transfers were directed by the ruling BJP government. In the span of one month during September 2016 he was transferred three times. Kasni, a 1997-batch IAS officer, is the most transferred bureaucrat of Haryana after another IAS officer Ashok Khemka.
