Hyderabad: In a tit-for-tat, TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy has accepted the challenge thrown at him by KTR and has said that he will quit politics if Congress Party loses 2019 Assembly elections in Telangana. He went a step ahead and said not just him but his family will walk out of politics. He questioned if KTR's family members - KCR, Kavita and Harish Rao would also quit politics forever if Congress wins the elections.

Yesterday in a public meeting at Gadwal, KTR announced that he would go on a political asylum if TRS loses next elections and challenged Uttam Kumar Reddy if he would do the same after Congress loses the elections.

Today, Uttam responded to KTR, "I am accepting KTR's challenge. If Congress doesn't win the next elections, me along with all my family members will walk out of politics. And this implies to you (KTR) and your family also."

TPCC Chief went on to say that if the elections are held in 2018 or 2019, they were ready. He was confident of winning 100 seats in Telangana and ridiculed KTR as a kid in politics. He said it was improper on part of KTR to talk about Rahul Gandhi, "It is very funny that a commission agent like you is accusing Gandhi family."
