I May Move Back To DenmarkI If Trump Is Elected: Lars Ulrich

Metallica’s Lars Ulrich - Sakshi Post

London: Metallica star Lars Ulrich is considering a move back to his native Denmark if Donald Trump is elected US president next month.

The rocker moved to America when he was a teenager and has lived there ever since, but he has retained his Danish citizenship and may go home if voters pick the businessman as their next leader, reported Contactmusic.

I am a hundred per cent Danish citizen, he tells Denmark's Ekstra Bladet. I pay taxes in the USA but I can't vote in America... Sometimes I think about moving home to Denmark. I'll stick to my Danish passport. If Trump becomes president..., I might make my way to the airport and ask if I can get back in again.

Son of former tennis pro Torben Ulrich, Lars moved to Los Angeles at age sixteen in the summer of 1980 to train in the sport of tennis. However, rather than playing tennis, he began playing the drums. After publishing an advertisement in a local classified ads newspaper called The Recycler, Ulrich met James Hetfield and formed Metallica.
