Hyderabad's first lady Mayor Sarojini Pulla Reddy dead

Senior Congress leader and former minister, Sarojini Pulla Reddy passed away in the wee hours of Sunday.

She was the first lady mayor of Hyderabad city. Sarojini Pulla Reddy (85), who was being treated cancer breathe her last at her residence in Boinapally in Secunderabad.

She served as minister for Information and Public Relations and also held other portfolios. She also worked as a member of the Congress Working Committee.

YSR Congress Party honorary president, YS Vijayamma offered condolences for her death.
