Husband threatens suicide as wife wants to move to Saudi  

Kadapa: An aggrieved husband who was agonized at his wife’s adamant stand to move to Saudi Arabia, threatened to commit suicide by lying down on the railway tracks. He was however saved by the locals there who acted in time to stop the oncoming train.

Babasaab, a resident of Kamalapur in YSR district caused a stir here on Wednesday morning by threatening to commit suicide as his wife disregarded his pleas and remained adamant to travel to Saudi Arabia.

A few locals who spotted him lying on the railway tracks tried talking him out of it, but Babasaab did not relent. Not long after that, they saw a train approaching on the same tracks that Babasaab was on.

Unable to get through to the determined victim, they made haste and ran towards the oncoming train and alerted the driver and stopped the train. Babasaab was saved just in time.
