Huge Amounts Of Foreign Currency Seized At Shamshabad Airport 

Hyderabad: Huge amounts of foreign currency was seized from two passengers in separate incidents at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, on Thursday morning.

In the first incident, the airport authorities seized Rs55 lakh worth currency of various countries including US dollars from one Ahmed who was trying to check-in with his luggage. The currency was packed in his cabin luggage.

Over Rs85 lakh worth currency of different countries was found in the luggage of one Hyder bound for Dubai. Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) officials caught the accused with currency when he entered the airport premises.
