Here is How Narayana Owns 3,129 Acres in Capital Area!!

Vijayawada: As the devious land grab scam in the AP Capital area by the TDP biggies is unfolding much to the shock and bewilderment of the commoners, ever newer names of proxies are coming up. The TDP biggies, including MPs, Ministers, MLAs and people close to the ruling establishment, have used proxies to buy huge swathes in the commercial zones of the capital area. 

Here are the chunks bought by Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana, who played a key role in the land-pooling in the capital area.

* The total land that the minister purchased through his proxies is 3129 acres. He paied Rs 432 crore to the sellers and the current market value of the land is a whopping Rs 10,000 crore.

* Naryana had extensively toured at the 29 villages that come under the Capital Region Development Authority. He collected details ofthe assigned and lanka lands in this area and created a scare among those tilling those lands that the government is out to acquire those lands without paying any compensation. This made the poor farmers scamper to the minister's proxies and sell their lands at throwaway prices.

* The lands were purchased at rates ranging from Rs 10 to 15 lakh per acre. Lands were purchased in small chunks by Narayana's proxies - most of them employees working in Narayana's institutions. To ensure that the details do not go out, online registration mode was used. Also representative method was used to ensure that the farmer, who sells the land does not get to see the buyer directly.

* Some of the benamis used by Narayana are:

* Avula Munisankar - a distant relative of the minister, who was incharge of electrical repairs in Narayana's medical college. He is from a middle class background and can by no means afford to buy lands expending crores of rupees.

* Ravuru Sambasiva Rao - A relative and a confidant of Narayana. He reportedly manages Narayana' affairs. He purchased lands in Tulluru.

* Potturi Prameela - She is incharge of Naryana's colleges in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. She is from a middle class and cannot afford to expend crores to buy lands in the capital area.
