‘Golden Feet’ Donated To Tirumala Temple

Tirumala: Golden 'Padhalu' (golden feet) were donated to the Tirumala temple, here on Sunday, to be adorned to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateshwara.

The donation was made by a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) A Lakshmi. The golden feet weigh 2.026 kgs and are said to be worth Rs 61 lakhs. Parents of the donor, on her behalf, handed over the offering to Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju in the temple premises.
