Ghastly Road Accident Kills Techie Couple

Achampet: A newly married couple died instaneously when their over speeding car lost contriol and somersaulted near Amrabad mandal on Srisailam-Hyderabad highway. Three others who were traveling in the car were severly injured. Both the victims were software engineers in Hyderabad.

According to SI Badya Nayak, Anji Reddy (30) and Ashwini (28) got married about 10 months ago. They work with Tech Mahindra company in Hitech City, Hyderabad. The couple, along with four colleagues, Ali, Kishore Kumar Reddy, Ravi Kiran and Rukesh were travelling to Srisailam on Saturday.

At about 10 kms from Domala Penta Forest Check post, the overspeeding car somersaulted, leading to the death of Anji Reddy and Ashwini on the spot, while Ali, Kishore Kumar Reddy and Ravi Kiran were severely injured in the mishap. They were immediately shifted to Sunni Penta Government Hospital.

After medical treatment at the hospital, Ravi Kiran and Kishore Kumar, whose situation was critical, were shifted to Hyderabad for better medical facilities, upon the advice of the doctors. It is learnt that Anji Reddy was on a journey his native place Vemula village in Prakasam district.

The dead bodies were shifted to Amrabad Government Hospital for postmorteum. The police have registered a case in this matter and started investigation.
