Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu’s Last Rites In Chittoor Today

Former Minister and MLC Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu passed away on Tuesday after being hit by dengue. He was 71.
Gali was admitted to hospital two days ago. He breathed his last at 2 am this morning while undergoing treatment. The senior TDP also reportedly suffered multi-organ failure. Gali, who was also diagnosed with respiratory issues had undergone heart surgery last year.
Gali, who was born on June 9, 1947 in Venkatramapuram of Chittoor had made his political entry at the behest of NTR in 1983. He had worked as a lecturer in Guntur Arts and Science college. Gali had been elected as Puttur MLA for six consecutive years.
He served as the Education minister in 1984, Forest and Environment minister in 1987 and as Education minister in 1994.
The last rituals of the senior leader will be held at his hometown Venkatramapuram.
