Educational Institutions In Telugu States Get Mention In Union Budget

Hyderabad: The Union Budget sanctioned funds for several educational institutions in the Telugu states, on Thursday.

The breakup of funds for AP institutions:

• Central University - Rs 10 crore
• Tribal University - Rs 10 crore
• NIT - Rs 54 crore
• IIT - Rs 50 crore
• IIIT - Rs 30 crore
• IIM - Rs 42 crore
• IISCR - Rs 49 crore
• Vizag Port - Rs 108 crore
• Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy - Rs 32 crore

The breakup of funds for Telangana institutions:

• Singareni Colleries - Rs 2,000 crore
• Tribal Univesrity - Rs 10 crore
• IIT - Rs 75 crore
• Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy - Rs 32 crore
