Former MLA Dommeti Venkateswarlu Joins YSRCP 

Former East Godavari District Congress Committee president and former MLC Dommeti Venkateswarlu joined the YSRCP on Thursday. Dommeti and a large number of his followers met Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his Praja Sankalpa Yatra at Pattikonda in Kurnool district and formally joined the party. YS Jagan welcomed them by wrapping party stoles around their shoulders. Party senior leader and MLC Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose accompanied Dommeti and his followers.

Speaking on the occasion, Dommeti Venakteswarlu said that the Praja Sankalpa Yatra was getting a massive response from the people. He said Rajanna Rajyam was possible only when YS Jagan becomes the chief minister of the state. He said he was joining the YSRCP as he was confident that only YS Jagan can achieve progress and development of the state. Dommeti and his followers too joined YS Jagan's yatra at Narsapuram Crossroads.
