Former Delivery Boy Held For Duping Online Shopping Companies

Hyderabad: Vanasthalipuram police on Thursday arrested a former delivery boy of an online shopping company for stealing products worth Rs 2.2 lakh by duping two online companies - Shopping Zone and Naaptol.

“The accused Suresh used to place orders giving a false delivery address and once the delivery boy called Suresh, he would direct them to a nearby multi-storied building,” said Lakshmikath Reddy, Vanasthalipuram inspector.

Police have seized stolen products like mobile phone, sewing machines, etc and during an inquiry the accused said that due to financial distress he was forced to commit such offenses.
