I Want A Fairy Tale Marriage: Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut is one of the versatile actors from Bollywood. She was also called "controversial queen" by the media with regards to her controversies and volatile relationships in the past. It is not that easy to become a star without any background,but Kangana has bagged every opportunity that she was offered and proved herself as a star actress.

She made her Tollywood debut with Ek Niranjan along with Prabhas which was directed by Puri Jagannath. She also worked with Bollywood top heroes like Hritik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan and Shahid Kapoor. Kangana has acted in heroine-oriented films where she was critically acclaimed for her performances and also won the National Award twice for Queen and Fashion.

The shooting of her upcoming film Manikarnika is underway which was directed by Krish Jagarlamudi despite the news of a fall out with him.

On a visit to Hyderabad where she walked the ramp for Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2018 in Taj Faluknama, Hyderabad, she shared her experiences and other details with Sakshi media.

About Movies:

"I don't know, surprisingly I was not asked for any roles in Telugu after Ek Niranjan. It was an interesting story and I was a teen while doing the movie. I have done a musical video at that time but my parents asked me not to do such videos. They asked me to come home. I had no money and went to the auditions for Gangster and Pokiri. I was selected for both films but I had to choose one since the shooting dates coincided."

Telugu films:

"I left Pokiri and acted in Gangster. Later Pokiri was an industry hit, after that Puri Jagannath offered me Ek Niranjan. But I was not offered any Telugu films after Ek Niranjan. Earlier I chose films based on the director, but now the story is important for me."

Current interests:

"I read books and I also follow Sadguru Jaggi vasudev. I do meditation every day which relieves my stress. I am interested to learn new things and I have also a completed film writing course in New York. There were some people who had objected when I had gone to do the course, but I find writing interesting."

New year resolution

Three of my films are going to release in 2019, including Manikarnika. But I want to spend more time with my family and friends and relax as I have had a very grueling schedule with Manikarnika.

About marriage:

"I believe in fairy tale marriages and I want to have this kind of a wedding. I am very happy for Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra and Sonam Kapoor for getting married. Deepika ,Sonam and have started our film career at the same time , but I was not worried about my marriage. I fell in love at 25 and thought I should get married. But now I am 31 and still I didn't feel the need to get married, but if I do get married it has to " she said before signing off.
