Vijay - Sakshi Post

Kollywood actor Vijay is basking in the glory of his latest film's success. Yes, the film has received a thumping response from the audience and critics alike who can't sotp raving about the film. The film has become a moneyspinner at the box office and the makers are happy not just because of the money it's bringing in but also because of the response the film has received.

The film has made political parties in Tamil Nadu sit up and take notice. The political parties have objected to some controversial parts of the movie and demanding that the scenes be removed. However, the entire film fraternity including the likes of superstar Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan have come out in support of the film and slammed political parties for interfering in the film.

In the tweet Rajini says it's a crime to clamp down on a movie after the approval of the censor board.

However, if a latest buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood circles is any indication then in all probabilities, the film could be censored again. Yes. You read that right. With the kind of political influence and interference prevalent in Tamil Nadu, the Vijay starrer Sarkar is likely to be re-censored.

Earlier, most of the posters of the movie in theatres and walls in Chennai city had been taken down fearing action from political parties.

Sarkar is now at the mercy of the Tamil Nadu government with the battle hitting its peak. This is not the first time, a Vijay film has run into a controversy. The actor's earlier films Kathi and Mersal too had angered governments.
