Who Will Play Silk Smitha In Kaala Maker’s Web Series?

Move over Kaala and Kabali, the filmmaker Pa Ranjith seems to have turned his focus to biopics. And if you haven't already guessed, yes he has chosen none other than Silk Smitha. And this time it's not going to be a dirty picture...hold on, we mean that it won't be a full length feature film. Looks like the film maker has learnt his lessons from two back to back debacles with Tamil superstar Rajinikanth. Kabaali and Kaala were box office duds and now the director wants to take no chances. He now wants to work a subject that will surely bring him success.

None better than Silk Smitha, yeah? So here we are with the news. Vidya Balan reprised the role of the yesteryear cabaret dancer and actress to the T in Dirty Picture. Now, it remains to be seen who will play silk smitha in the web series.
